As Lisbon led the way towards the bullpen, she was wondering if she should say something about the inappropriateness of her consultant's comment or if she'd better let it slide.
"How many times do I have to remind you about keeping our relationship out of the office?" she snaps at him, poking his chest for emphasis.
"I don't know... how many times have you told me not to hypnotize witnesses, antagonize suspects and piss off your boss?" He grinned at her, thinking about how much he had enjoyed doing all of these things during their last case.
"You'd think you'd start to listen to me by now; any more of this nonsense and there will be no relationship, inside or outside of the office."
"We both know that's not true," He replied smugly, leaning very close to her face so that his warm breath tickled her lips as he spoke.
Lisbon looked up at him, unimpressed, before rolling her eyes. "How exactly your ego fits through doors I'll never know."
"Oh, it's really quite simple," he replied, "I just turn it sideways. Works like a charm."
"Huh, is that so?" she raised her brows and he nodded to his word, following her into her stuffy office then closing the door behind him.
Lisbon sat down behind a desk picking up a piece of paper from the pile next to her, ignoring the look of utter boredom on Jane's face.
