I just want to make the rules for posting spoilers clear so that everyone who isn't a spoiler junkie can enjoy the board.
1. A spoiler is considered a spoiler until one week after the episode airs in the US. This includes images, character backgrounds, plot lines, quotes and moments from the show. A spoiler is anything that is not released officially by CBS. Show slides, information, casting news, promos that are from other sources are considered spoilers.
2. Please try to keep spoilers to the Spoilers board prior to the airing of any episode. This will prevent a lot of miscommunication in the first place.
3. When starting a spoiler related thread, try not to leak any spoilers in the title, even on the Spoilers board. Keep the title generic.
4. Use the 'Spoilers' tag, . It works the same was as the others. You do not have to use the tags if you are posting in the Spoilers board as well as the Episodes board, after the episode airs (unless you are talking about the following episode).
5. If you are unsure something is a spoiler, use the tag just in case. Otherwise ask.
6. Avatars and signatures cannot have any spoiler images from an episode until one week after airing - these images include promos, screencaps and manips.
7. Fanart and fanvids containing spoiler images from un-aired episodes can be posted in their respective threads immediately after the episode has aired provided proper warning is made.
8. These rules apply for spoilers of all other shows discussed on the forum.
9. Although I will try to make sure that everyone complies with these rules, it is important that you follow them. Be considerate, that's all I ask. I will not patrol the forum because I won't have the time to do but if I get enough complaints then I'll to do something.
I apologize in advance if these rules sound harsh. I just want to make sure everyone can freely read the threads without accidentally stumbling across spoilers.
