Okay so browsing, I found this on DeviantArt. I think it could be fun , given that in here are a lot of authors. Original meme here.
Hi, welcome to the Writer's Meme! First, describe yourself in three-to-five words.
Okay, good! Now, how long have you been writing for?
There's always the dreaded subject of "writer's block". What do you do to overcome it?
Okay! So, what do you like to write about most? (I'm assuming that here most would say TM related (or NCIS) but you could expand it to say what genre or theme u like also)
Do you have a favorite-FAVORITE author? Or just somebody/something inspiring to get you motivated?
Alright, writers tend to 'baby' certain characters. What's one or two characters you simply could not live without, currently?
GASP. You're faced with the dilemma of killing one character off! Which one is it, and why?
Finally, you're stuck on a deserted island with a character. Who is it and why?

Hi, welcome to the Writer's Meme! First, describe yourself in three-to-five words. Short, blonde, obsessive headache-suffering fangirl
(headache-suffering is obviously one word.)
Okay, good! Now, how long have you been writing for? As a hobby, 11 years.
There's always the dreaded subject of "writer's block". What do you do to overcome it?
Explore other fandoms, write drabbles, set myself challenges (ie write a certain amount a day, prompt/theme challenges), listen to music, read other people's fic, look at prompts, get people to give me prompts, do writing memes on LJ.... and if all else fails, make graphics.
Okay! So, what do you like to write about most? (I'm assuming that here most would say TM related (or NCIS) but you could expand it to say what genre or theme u like also)
Fandom-wise, it's TM. Genre wise, ANGST ANGST ANGST. Yeah, I like angst. Or at the very least, melancholy.
(Wow. Predictable.)
Do you have a favorite-FAVORITE author? Or just somebody/something inspiring to get you motivated?
Published authors: Terry Pratchett, Simon Guerrier, Paul Cornell and there's more but I forget D: Fanfic authors: Rach, twin, Yana, Ebony10, ch19777, hardly loquacious amongst many others...
Alright, writers tend to 'baby' certain characters. What's one or two characters you simply could not live without, currently?
Huh? Do you mean who are my favourite characters? If so, Lisbon, Jane and Romana (from Doctor Who)
GASP. You're faced with the dilemma of killing one character off! Which one is it, and why?
Hah, I don't have a problem with killing off characters. I'll kill off anyone if it's necessary for the plot. I don't like using death for gratituous reasons/shock factor though.
Finally, you're stuck on a deserted island with a character. Who is it and why?
The Doctor with his TARDIS. Then we can go away from said deserted island and explore time and space instead. (And if it can be any Doctor, EIGHT PLEASE. Mmm.)
TM-wise. Lisbon. She's practical and it'd give her a break from Jane. Heh.

Hi, welcome to the Writer's Meme!
First, describe yourself in three-to-five words. A geeky, book-loving, telly-watching single mother.
Okay, good! Now, how long have you been writing for? 22+ years. Rainbow Bright eat your heart out!
There's always the dreaded subject of "writer's block". What do you do to overcome it? Depends on how severe the writer's block is and which fandom I'm writing for at the time. Sometimes I have to just let the stories sit, like with my severe case of writer's block for the Mentalist, and work on other fandoms. Go Doctor Who! Other times it is a rather minor case of writer's block and it just needs me taking a walk or surfing, even just listening to different music helps. Also bouncing ideas off others, particularly someone that is willing to say what they think will or won't work and point out mistakes you've made in spelling/grammar/etc. that might be throwing your story off (AKA a beta).
Okay! So, what do you like to write about most? (I'm assuming that here most would say TM related (or NCIS) but you could expand it to say what genre or theme u like also) Most of my posted stories are Mentalist/Jisbon based. I also write Doctor Who, Castle, Harry Potter, NCIS, Inuyasha, Hellsing and MANY other fandoms. As for genres... Romance, Hurt/Comfort, Humor, General, Friendship, Angst
Do you have a favorite-FAVORITE author? Or just somebody/something inspiring to get you motivated? Favorite published authors? Oh man. There are far to many to list. Favorite fan fiction authors? Another LONG list that includes many from this wonderful place. Inspiration? A love of writing and books, music, characters, and many other people/places/things.
Alright, writers tend to 'baby' certain characters. What's one or two characters you simply could not live without, currently? The Mentalist - Jane, Lisbon & Cho Doctor Who - The Doctor, Martha Jones & Captain Jack Harkness
GASP. You're faced with the dilemma of killing one character off! Which one is it, and why? The Mentalist - Mostly I've considered killing Lisbon. Mainly because I think Jane is so fun to torture emotionally. I'll also kill Van Pelt, but that's for a totally different reason. Doctor Who - The Doctor or Jack Harkness. The Doctor because he can regenerate. Jack cause he's immortal and will come back. There has also been a couple of occasions I've considered killing Martha, but those were for AU rewrites of Human Nature/Family of Blood and Utopia/Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords. The only other character I've considered killing off on a fairly regular basis is Rose. Overall, unless there is a specific reason for killing someone in the plot it won't happen in my stories.
Finally, you're stuck on a deserted island with a character. Who is it and why? Who - The Doctor with the TARDIS. Why - I've always wanted to travel in time & space.

Hi, welcome to the Writer's Meme! First, describe yourself in three-to-five words.Crazy, Southern, Sci-Fi Fanatic Cowgirl Okay, good! Now, how long have you been writing for?8 months ;D There's always the dreaded subject of "writer's block". What do you do to overcome it?One word: Music. I’ve definitely found music to big a big inspiration. A lot of times I can pull a story out of a song. I love quotes, lyrics, challenges, etc. And I also try and have at least two stories going at the same time, so if I’m struggling with one, I can jump to the other! Okay! So, what do you like to write about most? (I'm assuming that here most would say TM related (or NCIS) but you could expand it to say what genre or theme u like also)TM was the first fandom that actually motivated me enough to write. I also dabble with Stargate: SG1 and Sanctuary. And I love angst- no surprise there! I love putting the characters through horrible situations and writing them out of it. It’s fun to let them grow, and to me that makes any fluff seem so much sweeter! Do you have a favorite-FAVORITE author? Or just somebody/something inspiring to get you motivated?Oh gosh, that’s a long list. I love to read. I’m a book-aholic. Ummm, I absolutely love Ayn Rand, CS Lewis, JK Rowling, Janet Evanovich, and so many more. Fanfiction-wise: I think our little fandom is blessed to have so many talented writers. A few of my favorites (and I cant think of everyone so I apologize in advance!) are: Susan, Twin, Arcadya, Yaba, The Blue Raven (Sanctuary), and SBZ (Stargate). Alright, writers tend to 'baby' certain characters. What's one or two characters you simply could not live without, currently?Well, I don’t think I baby Lisbon and Jane….actually, I’m quite mean to them. But I can’t live without them! Honestly, I’m always the worst towards my favorite characters. Same with Will and Helen in Sanctuary. Whump..... GASP. You're faced with the dilemma of killing one character off! Which one is it, and why?Definitely doesn’t bother me. Heh. Twin and I were just discussing how we’re two of the worst to ask this too! ANGST ANGST ANGST! That and I have a horrible reputation for killing of my OCs. I like to have a reason for doing so though. Finally, you're stuck on a deserted island with a character. Who is it and why?Samantha Carter (Stargate:SG1)- because she’s a genius, and if she can’t figure anything out, well the world’s doomed! Teresa Lisbon- she’s resourceful! I mean, how fun would that be! Plus, I think Jane would just annoy me. Dr. Will Zimmerman (Sanctuary): He would be so interesting to talk to, and would be able to ‘notice’ things to help us survive. Besides, he’s damn cute!

Oooh! I want to play! I've never done a meme before.
Hi, welcome to the Writer's Meme! First, describe yourself in three-to-five words.
I'm a geeky sarcastic ridiculously logical lunatic.
Okay, good! Now, how long have you been writing for?
Just over a year now.
There's always the dreaded subject of "writer's block". What do you do to overcome it?
Well, personally i signed up for the Secret Santa.
Okay! So, what do you like to write about most? (I'm assuming that here most would say TM related (or NCIS) but you could expand it to say what genre or theme u like also)
I write the Mentalist and Castle mainly. Don't know that I have a favourite genre since I write fluffy stuff and angsty stuff from time to time. I'll say Fluffy-shippy fic for Castle, and character study for the Mentalist.
Do you have a favorite-FAVORITE author? Or just somebody/something inspiring to get you motivatd?
Published author? I love many. My two very favourites are Jane Austen and L. M. Montgomery. Fanfic author is harder, as I also love many. I could name favourite stories before favourite authors I think.
Alright, writers tend to 'baby' certain characters. What's one or two characters you simply could not live without, currently?
Do we mean 'baby' in the sense that you make things really easy for them and baby them along? In that case, no one, I don't think. At least I hope not. If we mean 'baby' in the sense that they're a favourite and you write about them more often than anyone else then Lisbon. Definitely Lisbon.
And Castle and Beckett of course. I love them.
GASP. You're faced with the dilemma of killing one character off! Which one is it, and why?
Why am I faced with this dilemma? I think I could get myself out of it really. I hate killing people off. OKay, okay... I will kill off the hottie in the mail room (what? Nobody said it had to be an important character in any way!). Oh! I know. I'll kill off Red John. (What? Nobody said it had to be a good character...)
Finally, you're stuck on a deserted island with a character. Who is it and why?
My original thought was Cho. Come on, you know he'd be hysterically sarcastic about the whole situation, and you wouldn't feel the need to talk to him all the time. Plus, if something came up he'd probably just deal with it in a very matter of fact way.
However, having read Divinia's answers, I have to agree that Sam Carter would be an excellent choice if only because she could totally MacGuyver something up to get you out of there.

Hi, welcome to the Writer's Meme! First, describe yourself in three-to-five words.I’m a penguin-obsessed, hug loving weirdo. Okay, good! Now, how long have you been writing for?Six years!!!! There's always the dreaded subject of "writer's block". What do you do to overcome it?I just kinda talk about it out loud to myself, if I’m in my dorm or at my home—I’ll just sit or pace around and start to have a conversation with myself about what will work and what won’t work. I know it’s strange, but some of the best story ideas come for me that way. Okay! So, what do you like to write about most? (I'm assuming that here most would say TM related (or NCIS) but you could expand it to say what genre or theme u like also)Well… I mostly write for TM. I love to write fluffy angst! (Though that may not be a category on ff.net yet, I’m still hoping one day that category will be there just for me) I also dabble in Harry Potter—but I’m mostly either TM or my own personal works which consist of either poetry or novels. Do you have a favorite-FAVORITE author? Or just somebody/something inspiring to get you motivated?I have many, many favorite fanfiction authors and many, many, many published authors. It'd take me a year to name them all. Alright, writers tend to 'baby' certain characters. What are one or two characters you simply could not live without, currently?Ha. I make life difficult for all of my characters. but I tend to write more about Jane and Lisbon. What can I say? I'm a hopeless romantic. #doeeyed GASP. You're faced with the dilemma of killing one character off! Which one is it, and why?HA! Actually, I have no problem killing off characters—in my personal novels, I think everyone “dies” at least once. I don’t know how many times I actually kill them and then bring them back to life, but I can tell you that killing off characters is one of my favorite things to do! If I really had to kill a character off though… It wouldn’t be Red John, but it wouldn’t be Jane either. It would probably be Lisbon; I do like to see my characters suffer. *gets plot bunny…* oh wonderful… not another one! Currently in my stories however? None of the characters feel like dying at this very moment anyway. Be glad, be very glad! Finally, you're stuck on a deserted island with a character. Who is it and why?
Well… the last time I answered a question like this, I angered my best friend because I killed him off, and I left four girls and one guy alive… I dunno who’d I want to be stranded with, but if I had to choose who I wanted stranded together on an island (it would definitely be Lisbon and Jane) and that’s just because I’d want to see some angst-fluff!

Hi, welcome to the Writer's Meme! First, describe yourself in three-to-five words. Short, Artistic, and vegetarianOkay, good! Now, how long have you been writing for? Since November There's always the dreaded subject of "writer's block". What do you do to overcome it? Stare at the ceiling and then listen to either epic soundtrack music or random 'energized' songs.Okay! So, what do you like to write about most? (I'm assuming that here most would say TM related (or NCIS) but you could expand it to say what genre or theme u like also) I've only written for The Mentalist so far, Might for NCIS or Bones later on. I usually write a lot of Romance whether it's 'bittersweet' or not. I have written angst and truth to be told, I'm a little fan Do you have a favorite-FAVORITE author? Or just somebody/something inspiring to get you motivated? Not really, but old(er) movies tend to inspire me as well as certain types of music.Alright, writers tend to 'baby' certain characters. What's one or two characters you simply could not live without, currently? I actually have 3, Jane, Lisbon and Cho...I actually don't want anyone to go! D:GASP. You're faced with the dilemma of killing one character off! Which one is it, and why? Probably Lisbon, she means a lot to Jane and in my opinion I see a lot of involvement with her and the whole Red John story line and therefore-multiple possibilities. Finally, you're stuck on a deserted island with a character. Who is it and why? Cho-He probably will be silently thinking of a plan to get off the island. The key is SILENTLY.

Hi, welcome to the Writer's Meme! First, describe yourself in three-to-five words.
Anxious, fixated, Jello lover/writer #jellosign
Okay, good! Now, how long have you been writing for?
Oh wow…about 7 years. #wowza
There's always the dreaded subject of "writer's block". What do you do to overcome it?
First, I think the best way for anyone to overcome writer’s block is to set a deadline for yourself. Get a friend (for me, it’s Chibi!) to motivate you and also sometimes it helps to re-read work of yours you really like or work of others that might get the creative juices flowing. If all else fails, watch old episodes of whatever show you’re trying to write for. This has been particularly inspiring for me with The Mentalist, considering Simon Baker is probably the only inspiration I ever need lol. *sigh*.
Okay! So, what do you like to write about most? (I'm assuming that here most would say TM related (or NCIS) but you could expand it to say what genre or theme u like also)
Currently, I write only for The Mentalist and I try to mix it up with some Romance and Angst, though I think it’s always harder to do good, original romance and fluff so it’s more of a challenge for me than angst. Previously I wrote a lot for One Tree Hill and CSI: Miami.
Do you have a favorite-FAVORITE author? Or just somebody/something inspiring to get you motivated?
Original Fiction: Truman Capote all the way. Brilliant author. I also really like John Grisham and Graham Greene. Fanfic Writers: Lil_smiles, Divinia Serit, Tromana, Hardly Loquacious, SpaceAnJL, Aquila1, Blondieland, AlamoGirl (but so many others, because everyone is so amazing!).
Alright, writers tend to 'baby' certain characters. What's one or two characters you simply could not live without, currently?
No matter how much I gush about my love for Patrick Jane, my heart belongs to Teresa Lisbon…I think it’s bordering on something inappropriate #shifty, but really I have a thing for fierce brunettes, Lisbon and Brooke Davis from One Tree Hill take the top two spots
GASP. You're faced with the dilemma of killing one character off! Which one is it, and why?
Can’t kill off Lisbon ever…that’s just not going to happen…so for The Mentalist I’ll say killing off Bosco would be interesting not because I don’t like him, I actually do. I just think it would give opportunity for some character introspection for Lisbon. (total short coming on the show’s part btw).
Finally, you're stuck on a deserted island with a character. Who is it and why?
I take Jane. I’ll never be bored #cheesygrin, and he’s definitely easy on the eyes. #melting.

Hi, welcome to the Writer's Meme! First, describe yourself in three-to-five words.
Short smart brunette firecracker.
Okay, good! Now, how long have you been writing for?
Roughly 10 years
There's always the dreaded subject of "writer's block". What do you do to overcome it?
As of this exact moment, I'm filling this out in hopes to beat it but usually I do sudoku puzzles or jigsaw puzzles. Anything that challenges me tends to get the creative juices flowin' again.
Okay! So, what do you like to write about most? (I'm assuming that here most would say TM related (or NCIS) but you could expand it to say what genre or theme u like also)
The Mentalist and Bones are the only fandoms I've ever written stuff for. As for Genre, I'd have to say I love fluff, hurt/comfort and friendship...what? I write pretty much anything! I have a soft spot for angsty stuff that has little fluff moments. I tend to emotionally torture my characters.
Do you have a favorite-FAVORITE author? Or just somebody/something inspiring to get you motivated?
Published: Way too many to list...I'd be here all day. Blah. Fanfic: Same as above, I'd be here awhile. Can I be one my own favorites or is that too self absorbed?
Alright, writers tend to 'baby' certain characters. What's one or two characters you simply could not live without, currently?
Lisbon. 'Nuff said.
GASP. You're faced with the dilemma of killing one character off! Which one is it, and why?
I've killed off Cho before...but I'd probably kill Jane and Lisbon too. Not without a good reason though.
Finally, you're stuck on a deserted island with a character. Who is it and why?
Lisbon. I think she'd be good company.

Hi, welcome to the Writer's Meme! First, describe yourself in three-to-five words.Open-Minded, Crazy, Secretive, Uncontrollable, Obsessive Lunatic Fan Okay, good! Now, how long have you been writing for?Hm, only one year I think, I've written all my life, but never as much as the last year, and I love it, finding fanfiction completed my life(: (how pathetic!) There's always the dreaded subject of "writer's block". What do you do to overcome it?Well, I know it sound awfully cheesy, but I like to take a walk (especially when its raining, it clears my mind) and I just take in everything around me and ideas begin to pop in my head from seeing the most random things. Also listening to music helps inspire me. And of course re watching episodes and such Okay! So, what do you like to write about most? (I'm assuming that here most would say TM related (or NCIS) but you could expand it to say what genre or theme u like also) All I write about is TM. Other than that I just write made up short stories and poetry, but nothing else for shows. Although I would like to try a NCIS or Bones one, though I don't think I can, writing about The Mentalist just comes more naturally for some weird reason. Do you have a favorite-FAVORITE author? Or just somebody/something inspiring to get you motivated?Mh, not a FAVORITE FAVORITE one, but I do like : Ellen Hopkins, I think her writing is just amazing and the way she writes her books in poetic verse is extremely hard, I get lost in her books, and the amazing reality of her stories is so great, she definitely inspires me. I also think that (dont laugh!) J.K Rowling is one of my favorites, she has a HUGE imagination and it must be hard to create a completely different world. Also, Nicholas Sparks, Shakespeare, Lisa McMann, many others im to tired to think of right now. as for fanfic writers, my favs are- lilsmiles, tromona, diviniaserit, fiveroses, tiva4evaxxx,andd sooo many others i cant remember! Alright, writers tend to 'baby' certain characters. What's one or two characters you simply could not live without, currently?Ah well the quite obvious answer, Lisbon & Jane!!!! I like the other characters but when I think of the show all i think of is them. GASP. You're faced with the dilemma of killing one character off! Which one is it, and why?Oh my. Thats hard. Well, I don't know if I'd be able to choose a main character. Though their really are no other characters now that bosco and minelli are gone! Does Red John count? hehe, well I guess him, wait no! That would end the show, okay um. wow, i never make up my mind, ok- no i cant do this. :/ Finally, you're stuck on a deserted island with a character. Who is it and why?Well obviously JANE! I think it would be rather interesting. Hm, you know, that would make a good episode. Lisbon & Jane... trapped on island.. hmm.. ;D

Hi, welcome to the Writer's Meme! First, describe yourself in three-to-five words.Smart, talented, humorous, serious Okay, good! Now, how long have you been writing for?Fanfiction? Almost a year and a half. Writing stories in general? 8-ish years. Chapter stories that actually make sense? 3 years. There's always the dreaded subject of "writer's block". What do you do to overcome it?Force myself to write, or just focus on other things for a while and take a break. Okay! So, what do you like to write about most? (I'm assuming that here most would say TM related (or NCIS) but you could expand it to say what genre or theme u like also)The Mentalist, for sure. Do you have a favorite-FAVORITE author? Or just somebody/something inspiring to get you motivated?N/A... I use TV episodes to get me motivated, I guess. Alright, writers tend to 'baby' certain characters. What's one or two characters you simply could not live without, currently?Teresa Lisbon and Patrick Jane. #jisbonsign GASP. You're faced with the dilemma of killing one character off! Which one is it, and why?Out of the two above? Patrick Jane. 'Cuz Lisbon is pure da** brilliance, and I love her. Out of the show? Hightower. XP She has her good moments, but I miss Minelli too much. Finally, you're stuck on a deserted island with a character. Who is it and why?Richard Castle 'cuz he's goofy, funny, serious, and caring all at once. I love him. #wub

Hi, welcome to the Writer's Meme! First, describe yourself in three-to-five words. Bubbly, optimistic, laptop-hugging adolescent!
Okay, good! Now, how long have you been writing for? Less than six months... hehe.
There's always the dreaded subject of "writer's block". What do you do to overcome it? Work on a different story, read lots of fanfiction, or simply force myself to write.
Okay! So, what do you like to write about most? Although I have written one story for NCIS (and now totally hate it), I currently just write for The Mentalist. I definitely heavily favor angst, especially of the tragic variety, though I make some pathetic attempts at fluff on occasion.
Do you have a favorite-FAVORITE author? Or just somebody/something inspiring to get you motivated? Published: Jane Austen, Suzanne Collins, Francine Rivers, Nicholas Sparks, and a bunch more - I'll read pretty much everything. Fanfiction: (copied from my FFN favorites list) boutondor, Divinia Serit, dwennie, Iloveplotbunnies, IsForWinners (Hunger Games), KenoshaChick (Hunger Games), NatashaCiaraIsabellaSabio (NCIS), NellietheMarvelous, tromana, and yaba - but again, there are a bunch more. This fandom has so many talented authors!
Alright, writers tend to 'baby' certain characters. What's one or two characters you simply could not live without, currently? Jane and Lisbon, duh. Seriously, these two are just way too much fun to mess with. Gotta love 'em!
GASP. You're faced with the dilemma of killing one character off! Which one is it, and why? Van Pelt, because she's my least favorite TM character, especially with her attitude as of late. Plus, it would totally screw with Rigsby and get rid of Agent Gary Stu, and that would make for more interesting television. js
Finally, you're stuck on a deserted island with a character. Who is it and why? From TM, I would probably say Lisbon or Cho. Lisbon, because she's freaking awesome, and Cho, because he would be the most rational about the whole situation. Otherwise, maybe Ziva from NCIS, because her ninja skills would have to be useful somehow.

Hi, welcome to the Writer's Meme! First, describe yourself in three-to-five words. Musical, clever, funny, sarcastic, and weird (Then again, who is normal?)
Okay, good! Now, how long have you been writing for? Maybe 2-3 years.
There's always the dreaded subject of "writer's block". What do you do to overcome it? Listen to some really good music, take a breather and look around to see what other writers are doing!
Okay! So, what do you like to write about most? (I'm assuming that here most would say TM related (or NCIS) but you could expand it to say what genre or theme u like also) I like to write mostly light, happy romance. I try to steer away from sad stuff a lot, but I can write that too.
Do you have a favorite-FAVORITE author? Or just somebody/something inspiring to get you motivated? My favorite author on FF is Donnamour1969 and my inspiration is my AMAZING friend Caleb!
Alright, writers tend to 'baby' certain characters. What's one or two characters you simply could not live without, currently? Jane and G.Callen from NCIS: Los Angeles
GASP. You're faced with the dilemma of killing one character off! Which one is it, and why? Probably Agent Darcy, because she just gives be a bad vibe...
Finally, you're stuck on a deserted island with a character. Who is it and why? Patrick Jane! I just love him and think he is soooooooo GORGEOUS!! But he might get annoying or arrogant after a while...
Lara ;D
