The Mentalist - Visual FX (Engine Room)

So I unintentionally stumbled across the production company called the Engine Room via this Facebook photo.

Apparently they do some of the visual effects for The Mentalist. There's a short clip you can view here, if you go there and click on "view clip" - it shows some of what they've done. Apparently they are also the company behind the new opening credits for this season.

*You can see the hedge I was standing by for the majority of the rehearsals straight ahead, the Lambo was pretty much parked in the spot it's shown in the photo.

I watched the clip .. WOW ! very impressive!
they did an excellent job.. now whenever I rewatch those episodes from S1 I'll notice these VFX..

Holy crap, that's impressive! I didn't notice most of the effects when I saw the show. Like the casino...it looks so real!
Thanks for sharing, now I'll always pay attention to those scenes
