I really might consider writing something, though this could be hard as I haven't written in years plus it would in a foreign language....but I have this story in my head for days now...ugh...we'll see. It would fit with the theme.

Not really the happiest of "new begginings" but it is one indeed.

Set up after he got from the mental institution where Sophie helped him to get over his grief, at least enough for him to be able to function. My idea is that he goes -maybe for the first time since the funeral- to his wife's and daughter's graves to promise them he'll catch (and kill) the bastard that did this to them. He has a new resolve, a new reason to live.
A new beggining.
